Across the weekend of 9-10 May, visitors to the NEC Birmingham can enjoy a full schedule of expert talks, panel discussions and live demonstrations delivered by some of the UK’s most trusted clinicians, registered dietitians, health practitioners, and free-from advocates. From NHS specialists and allergy charities to well-known media experts and lived-experience campaigners, the patient-centred agenda is designed to inform, empower and reassure.

What’s on the agenda?

Sessions will explore everything from managing food allergies and intolerances with confidence and understanding coeliac disease, to gut health, nutrition and supplementation. Visitors can also attend talks on raising allergy-aware children, navigating hormones, and supporting health through peri-menopause and menopause. Practical sessions will cover label reading, eating out safely, and building a balanced, enjoyable free-from diet.

Food lovers can also look forward to live cooking demonstrations, where expert chefs and nutritionists will share flavour-packed free-from recipes, smart ingredient swaps and tips for cooking safely at home. Dedicated wellbeing and hormone-health sessions will provide evidence-based insight alongside realistic, everyday advice.

Who’s joining the speaker line-up?

This year’s show features an outstanding line-up of speakers, including Olympic champion and coeliac advocate Becky Adlington, gluten-free baking pioneer Becky Excell, and Ella Mills, founder of Deliciously Ella.

Leading allergy specialist Professor Adam Fox and gut-health expert Megan Rossi will share clinical insight and practical guidance on managing allergies and improving digestive wellbeing.
