Allergy Awareness Week with Vitalite

PARTNERSHIP

Firstly, this year to support Allergy Awareness Week, Vitalite hosted The Big Vitalite Bake inspired by The Great British Bake Off. Whilst Allergy Awareness Week is a key time to educate and advocate for vital changes, Vitalite believe it’s also an opportunity to celebrate inclusivity! We aimed to spread positivity and joy by bringing together our trusted partners – The Allergy Badge and Dr Helen Allergy, brand ambassadors, key figures and influencers from the Allergy and Free- From community including our Vitalite VIPs (a fantastic group of allergy parents and advocates).

Additionally, a representative from Natasha’s Allergy Research Foundation, The Sadie Bristow Foundation and from the Tesco Free From team joined us, with brand partners Creative Nature, Fearne and Rosie, Sweet Freedom, Nomo and Freedom Confectionary sponsoring the event and providing allergy- friendly products for the bakes and goodie bags. Our attendees baked one of six Vitalite recipes and competed to be named ‘Champion Bakers’ by our celebrity judges, vegan baker Holly Jade – thelittleblogofvegan, Ali Bastian – actor, influencer and allergy parent and Dominic Teague – Head Chef of a dairy and gluten free restaurant at One Aldwych Hotel. In hosting this event we wanted to showcase how Vitalite can be that brand you can trust and depend on that’s perfect for the whole family!

Secondly, Vitalite’s trusted partner Natalie from The Allergy Badge (accredited allergy training provider and consultancy) attended the Allergy Awareness Week event at Tesco Head Office. Here, following the success of training in 2024 Natalie again provided Tesco staff with allergy training including how to administer auto-injectors.
