A Considered Approach to Safer Cleaning for Sensitive Homes

For households managing allergies, sensitivities or simply seeking greater reassurance in everyday products, cleaning has become a more considered choice. Increasingly, consumers are looking beyond traditional cues such as fragrance and instead, towards products that prioritise transparency, simplicity and a more thoughtful approach to formulation. DEW Products reflects this shift, offering a science-led alternative, designed to support effective cleaning, while aligning with the needs of sensitive households.

Using a proprietary electrolysed water technology, DEW products are created from just salt, water and electricity. This produces fragrance free, powerful cleaning and disinfecting solutions without the need for complex chemical formulations. The result is a range developed for modern homes seeking clarity, transparency and reassurance.

DEW products are independently tested, dermatologically assessed and carry Allergy UK certification, supporting their use throughout the home, from kitchens and food preparation areas to baby care, pet care and sensitive skin routines. Unlike many cleaning and disinfection products on the market today, DEW products do NOT carry any hazard picograms. They are hypoallergenic and vegan friendly, the range reflects a growing move towards ingredient transparency and for environmental awareness, helping consumers make more informed choices about what they use in their homes.

Founder Erik Smyth established DEW following personal experience of managing severe skin sensitivities within his own family, shaping a brand built on the conviction that effective cleaning can be achieved, by adopting a more considered approach to ingredients.

Professor Sanjay Purkayastha, Consultant Surgeon and sustainability lead, joined DEW after seeing first-hand the positive impact that simplifying cleaning routines had within his own home environment. His clinical background and focus on responsible systems support DEW’s approach to hygiene.

Joanne Parkington, a midwife with over 30 years’ experience, has also become a strong advocate for the range. Having supported thousands of families throughout her career, she recognises the importance of gentle, effective solutions, particularly for newborn and sensitive skin and recommends DEW as part of a carefully considered home environment.

As consumers increasingly look beyond traditional and familiar cleaning products, towards those that prioritise transparency and wellbeing, DEW represents a sensible approach to cleaning, one that balances performance, simplicity and peace of mind.
